Amehata Waterfall (Taki)

Amehata taki from a distance. Note the @#$!@!#$!&@ power line across the center of the shot. I hate those things! Still, it's beautiful. Too bad you have to try an imitation of Maui's hana road to get there.

Past the gym and the dam and the lake in the section of Hayakawa called Amehata (where the fireworks were) is the gorgeous Amehata taki (waterfall). The waterfall is over 70 metres tall, has a cute pond at the base of the waterfall, brilliantly clear water, and a little picnic hut with a water wheel outside. Here are some of the shots.
